” If it’s outlawed then..is it okay if I’m raped and conceived a child due to it?”

The ‘It’ in ” If it’s outlawed then..is it okay if I’m raped and conceived a child due to it?” is referring to the horrid murderous act of abortion. Someone recently asked me this question. At first I did not know how to respond other than” No, aborting the child is still wrong.” Which at the time I was asked this question, I just paused, prayed to the Holy Spirit, and then I came up with a response, only with the help of the Holy Spirit, though. So, before I elaborate more, I would like to briefly apologize for having not posted anything for quite some time, I’ve just kind of had writers block number one, and also I’ve just been going through a rough patch of grass and needed to take a break. But on the bright side of things, I’m posting something now!! Now, let’s get back to this mainstream issue of abortion.

If Abortion were outlawed and a woman conceives as a result of rape, then in that case, that is the cross that Jesus Christ has asked that women to bare, with the help of Him. The Lord NEVER gives us too much to handle. Now, I will admit, being raped, having to carry birth and raise the child that was conceived due to it is a very large cross. But it is NOTHING in comparison with Christ’s’ suffering on the Cross! So in the case that a woman is raped and conceives a child due to it, that woman must stand stead-fast in the Lord, not give in to the temptation to abort the poor innocent soul, pray unceasingly, and stay close to Our Lord during the carrying of her cross. Even though that child was conceived from a sinful and unjust act, the baby still has EVERY right to live out their life, grow, mature, and then when the Lord calls him/her home, hopefully go into eternal peace with the King of kings and stay eternally in the Kingdom of Heaven. I’ll be completely open with you; I was produced by an act of sin… I was conceived outside of wedlock, and I know not my real biological dad. But does that take away my right to live a life? Nope. Yes, I understand it’s to totally different places on the line of severity, but still.. A life is a life, and all lives deserve to be lived! So again, if a woman was raped, and from that she conceives a child then that woman, who may I tell you must be very strong mentally and spiritually for God to give her such a large cross, must take up her cross, stand stead-fast in the Lord, never give in to the temptations to abort the child, pray unceasingly, carry, birth, and raise the child all with the help of The Lord, and do EVERYTHING in her ability to ensure that he/she reaches our ultimate goal…. HEAVEN WITH OUR KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that this opens the minds of some people, and shows them the truth. May God bless and protect you all!!!!!

Prayer to End Abortion

Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.

I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.

I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.

I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen!

God bless you all,

  1. God Bless you Paige for sharing your story and for reminding everyone that sometimes bad things happen. Sometimes unplanned things happen… but you are living proof that regardless of the situation of how a child is conceived… that child deserves to have the chance at life. Thanks be to God that your own mother chose life. You are such a blessing to us all… as I am sure the countless others who have been aborted would have been as well. Great post!
